Ocelot

People love the large cats of sub-Saharan Africa and I am one of them. But as much as lions, leopards and cheetahs are magnificent I think it’s a shame that the smaller cat species of South America are often overlooked. The Ocelot, Geoffrey’s Cat and Kodkod Cat are beautiful, undeniably cute but don’t get the same attention as larger species which is a shame as they all face an uncertain future and a real battle for survival. So I’d like to do everything I can to help promote their plight and make people realise they are just as worth saving as their larger cousins.
