Normally I’d concentrate on trying to get across the wonderful hues of a tiger coat but on this occasion, the light and the animals’ sense of play seemed almost to evoke some kind of nostalgia so I went with a black & white treatment of this image which in retrospect was a good idea. Even someone I admire as much as David Lloyd said he liked this one and that’s high praise indeed from someone who knows so much about great mono wildlife photography.
