Some background info

I am a 30-something photographer based in Southampton, Hampshire, UK. I'm not a professional photographer, just an avid enthusiast about the natural world with a wish to record my own experiences. I choose not to specialise in any one area of wildlife photography and I hope over time this site will reflect as diverse a number of species as possible!

I work exclusively within the digital environment. Most of the images on this site were taken with Nikon camera bodies and various Nikkor and Sigma lenses, supported by Manfrotto tripods and monopods. Hopefully without being too obvious, any image processing is done with Adobe Photoshop CS3 and I'm also indebted to the excellent filter plugins from Alien Skin
