This image is an all-time favourite of mine and I still consider it one of my signature images. In many ways it’s the image that made me feel I had taken a leap from someone who took animal pictures for fun to a proper wildlife photographer. The light was just gorgeous on the day back in August 2008.
This image was one of two that made it into the Snow Leopard Trust’s 2010 calendar, which was a great honour.
