Some of my work could be described as wildlife portraits. There can be a temptation to think of these shots as “easy”. Animal sits there, press shutter, job done. But there is a bit more to it than that if you want to do it really well and often the magic doesn’t strike as often as you would like. But with patience comes moments of magic and this is one of mine. I love the intensity of this image, the expression in that fleeting moment.
